Why We Exist
Uplift in Kind (UIK) is a registered charity delivering a national flying program across New
Zealand designed to deliver awesome aviation experiences for children and their families,
with a focus on those who are seriously unwell, disadvantaged or otherwise doing it tough.
We believe that every child deserves to experience the joy and
exhilaration of soaring through the skies.
Joyful scenic flights or experiences that give children a break from hospital rooms and treatments, filling their hearts with wonder and excitement.
Compassionate transportation for children and families who need to travel for critical medical appointments and treatments.
Building a caring community of volunteers, pilots and partners who rally around families during their most challenging times.
